From Not a Chain
A loyalty card your regulars join in one tap at the counter
Put the QR by the till. Customers join with their mobile, collect stamps, and come back for the reward. When you have something to say, send it to everyone who asked to hear from you, and nobody else.

The card lives on their mobile number
No app to install and no card to lose in a jacket pocket. A customer scans the QR, types their mobile, confirms a code, and they are in. Next visit they tell you the number or their first name and you stamp.
You stamp from the till
Members sit in one list in your dashboard. Press Stamp and the count goes up. When the card is full a reward code appears on the spot, you hand over the reward, and the card starts again. It takes about as long as a paper stamp.
Messages only to people who said yes
Nobody can be added by hand and nobody is texted who did not join. Every campaign carries an opt-out link, replying STOP works, and the list of people who left is kept so you never message them again.
How it works
Four steps, from setting the card to the first message
Set the card
Pick how many stamps earn the reward, from 2 to 50, and write the reward in your own words. A free coffee, a free loaf, ten dollars off the next bunch.
Print the QR
Your join link and its QR code are on the Loyalty card page. Print it, stick it by the till, and share the link on your socials or your counter sign.
Stamp as they buy
A customer scans, joins with their mobile and a texted code, and shows up in your Members list. Press Stamp at each visit. A full card mints a reward code.
Say something when it matters
On a paid plan, write one message and send it to everyone in the club who has not opted out, by email, or by text from your own number on Local Favourite.
Join at the counter
A customer joins while the coffee is being made
The join page is plain: the shop name, how many stamps earn the reward, and a box for a mobile number. We text a six-digit code, they type it in, and they can add a first name and an email if they want store news. That is the whole thing. No account, no app, no password. If the club is full on the Free plan, the page says so instead of letting someone in you cannot serve.
- Australian mobiles only, confirmed by a texted code
- First name and email are optional
- Joining twice is the same member, not a duplicate
- The page is yours: your name and your reward on it
Members
One list, newest first, with a Stamp button on every row
The Members page shows each person by first name or mobile, their stamp count, any reward codes waiting to be used, and the day they joined. Press Stamp and the number goes up. Fill the card and a reward code appears next to the button, so you can hand over the reward while they are standing there. Anyone who has opted out of messages is marked, and they still collect stamps.
- Stamp from any phone or the till computer
- Reward codes show on the row until you use them
- Opted-out members are marked, and keep their stamps
- Your join link is one tap to copy from the same page
Campaigns
Write it once, send it to the club, and let people leave
A campaign is one message to everyone who joined and has not opted out. On Regulars and Local Favourite you send by email to members who gave an address and confirmed it. On Local Favourite you can also text, from a mobile number that is yours alone, so replies and STOP come back to you and nobody else. Every message carries that member's own opt-out link, and the link is never cut off to make room for words.
- Email on both paid plans, text on Local Favourite
- Your own texting number, included on Local Favourite
- The opt-out link goes in every message, every time
- Replying STOP opts the member out of your shop only
Pricing
Free for your first fifty members. Pay when the club grows.
Free holds 50 members and runs the card in full, paid for by a marketing consent rather than money. Regulars is $24 a month for up to 500 members and 500 email campaign messages. Local Favourite is $69 a month for unlimited members, 2,000 campaign messages, and texting from your own number. Prices in Australian dollars, no GST charged, cancel any month.
Questions, answered
Do my customers need an app?
No. They scan the QR or open your link, type their mobile, and confirm a six-digit code we text them. The card is their mobile number, so there is no app and no pass for the phone's wallet either. Next time they just tell you the number or their first name and you stamp.
Can I add my regulars myself from my old paper list?
No, and that is on purpose. Members join only themselves, at the counter or from your link, and prove the number with a code. It means nobody is ever texted who did not ask, which keeps your messages welcome and within the law. Ask your regulars to scan next time they are in.
What happens when a card is full?
The moment the stamp that reaches your target lands, a six-character reward code appears next to the Stamp button and in the Rewards waiting column. You hand over the reward. The card starts again from zero, and any stamp above the target carries over.
Can I text my members?
On Local Favourite, yes, from a mobile number that belongs to your shop. The number is part of the plan, at no extra charge: we get it for you when the plan starts, and if our carrier has none that day it arrives as soon as one does, with campaigns going by email until then. If the Campaigns page shows **Get my sending number** instead, press it once. On Regulars, campaigns go by email to members who gave an address and confirmed it. The Free plan runs the card but sends no campaigns.
What does the Free plan actually cost?
Money, nothing. At sign-up you tick a box agreeing to hear from Not a Chain and its partners about business growth and advertising services, by email and phone. You can withdraw any time. The paid plans carry no such consent.
Does this change my listing on Not a Chain?
No. Counter Club is a separate product. It does not sell a listing, change a rank, add a badge, or claim a profile. Your place in the directory stays exactly as it was, with or without a loyalty card.
Which shops is it for?
Any counter where the same faces come back: cafes, bakeries, butchers, florists, bottle shops, greengrocers and pet shops, and services people repeat on a cycle, such as barbers, nail salons, car washes, laundries and pet groomers. If a customer stands at your till more than once a month, or every few weeks without fail, a card makes sense.
Does it send messages on its own, or add a card to the phone's wallet?
No to both. Counter Club sends nothing automatically: no birthday texts, no win-back messages, no reminders. A campaign goes out only when you write it and press Send now. And there is no wallet pass; the card is the member's mobile number, found on your Members page.
Put the QR by the till this week
Setting the card takes two minutes. The first fifty members are free, paid for by a marketing consent instead of a card, and the card runs in full from day one.
